About Jigsaw

Why Jigsaw?
An excellent question you maybe didn’t ask! My relationship with therapy has changed over the years and some things have remained the same. My love of puzzles, both people and jigsaw, and my belief that human beings have an inalienable capacity for hope, change, belief and wonder as well as pain, despair, hurt, rage and fear. And not unlike a puzzle, life is full of exciting moments where things feel right and fit perfectly and frustration, pain and heartache when you can’t seem to find the piece you’re looking for or put things together in the way you need. Or maybe you lost the piece you need the most and don’t think you can finish the puzzle as a result.
I also believe people have all of the pieces they need and simply need to figure out the order and function that works for them. I don’t think I’m holding some special puzzle pieces you’ve been missing, I believe they are within you and you simply need access to those parts of you. This belief is foundational for the therapy at Jigsaw and those who provide it.
